Smart-Farming Systems That
Grow More From Less Land
A polyhouse is the roof. Smart farming is what you do under it.
Soham Greens designs hydroponics, grow-bag systems, vertical NFT, fertigation, fogging, trellising, cattle fodder units and vermicompost setups for growers who want more yield, less water and less guesswork, on the same land they already farm.
- Systems built around your crop, not sold off a shelf
- Lower water and fertilizer use with precise fertigation
- Works alongside any polyhouse or shadenet structure we build
- Agronomy support included so the system actually gets used
Hydroponics, Grow-Bags, Vertical NFT and Fertigation Systems
These four systems form the core of most smart-farming setups we install. Each solves a different problem: soil quality, space, water use or feeding precision. We often combine two or three based on your crop and budget.
Hydroponics
Grows crops in nutrient-rich water instead of soil. Useful where soil is poor or saline, or where you want faster, cleaner cycles. Often the right choice when disease pressure is high or land quality is limiting yield.
- Soil-free growing - faster cycles, works on poor or saline soil
- Reduced disease pressure from soil-borne pathogens
- Controlled nutrition for consistent crop quality
Grow-Bag Systems
Gives roots a controlled, disease-free growing medium. A lower-cost entry point into soilless growing with excellent results for tomato, capsicum and cucumber. Easy to retrofit into an existing polyhouse.
- Controlled root zone - disease pressure down
- Lower setup cost than full hydroponic systems
- Easy to integrate into any existing structure
Vertical NFT
Stacks growing channels upward so you get more plants per square meter. Nutrient Film Technique delivers a constant thin film of nutrient solution to roots. Ideal where land is limited and you are growing leafy greens or herbs.
- More plants per square meter - ideal for limited land
- Consistent nutrient delivery to every plant
- Best for leafy greens, herbs and small fruiting plants
Fertigation
Delivers water and fertilizer together through the same irrigation line, cutting waste and giving every plant the same precise feed. Can be added to almost any existing structure without rebuilding it from scratch.
- Precise water and nutrient delivery - less waste, even growth
- Significant fertilizer savings versus broadcast application
- Retrofits into existing polyhouse without structural change
Fogging, Trellising, Cattle Fodder Units and Vermicompost
The rest of a smart farm is about climate control, plant support and closing the loop on waste. These systems round out a project so nothing in the polyhouse is left to chance.
Fogging Systems
Cools and humidifies the air during peak heat, protecting flowers and leafy crops from stress. Critical during Malwa summers when internal temperatures can spike even inside a well-ventilated polyhouse.
Temperature & humidity controlTrellising
Supports climbing crops like tomato, capsicum and cucumber so they grow upward instead of sprawling. Better airflow means lower disease pressure, and a clean canopy makes harvesting faster and easier.
Better airflow - higher yield per plantCattle Fodder Units
Uses hydroponics to grow fresh green fodder in about 7 to 10 days from seed, without depending on land or season. Suited to dairy farmers and FPOs who need a reliable, cost-controlled fodder supply year-round.
Fresh fodder in 7-10 daysVermicompost Units
Turns farm waste into usable organic manure on site through earthworm composting. Closes the loop on crop residue and reduces the need to buy in fertilizer, lowering input costs each season.

Soham Greens
Smart farming only pays off if the grower knows how to run it. That is why agronomy support is not an add-on for us - it is part of every system we install. We have trained over 1,500 farmers through SVCPL and we build that same handover into every smart-farming project, whether it is a simple fertigation line or a full NFT and hydroponics setup.
