SVCPL Training Arm - Included with Every Project

Farmer Training and
Agronomy Support
With Every Project

A polyhouse without know-how is just a structure. That is why every project from Soham Greens comes with farmer training and ongoing agronomy support, delivered through SVCPL, our training arm. We have trained more than 1,500 farmers across India, from first-time growers to FPOs scaling up protected cultivation.

  • Hands-on training included with every structure we build
  • Agronomy support that continues after handover, not just at sign-off
  • Guidance in plain language, built for growers not textbooks

The track record

1,500+ Farmers Trained Across India Through SVCPL

Through SVCPL, Soham Greens has trained over 1,500 farmers across India in protected cultivation, smart-farming systems and crop-specific agronomy. These are working farmers, FPO members and nursery owners who now run their own polyhouses and shadenet houses with confidence. We train for the crop in front of you, not a generic farming course.

After your structure is built

What Agronomy Support Looks Like After Your Structure Is Built

Handover is not the end of our relationship. Once your polyhouse, shadenet house or smart-farming system is running, our agronomy team stays involved through the first critical growing cycles, when most costly mistakes happen.

We keep this practical: visits and calls timed to your crop stage, not a fixed calendar that ignores what is actually happening in your structure.

Pre-planting Guidance

Crop selection, spacing and a planting calendar suited to your exact structure, bay dimensions and local seasonal conditions.

Early Growth Support

On-site or remote support during the first weeks, when ventilation settings, irrigation timing and plant spacing adjustments matter most and mistakes are expensive.

Fertigation and Fogging Schedules

Nutrition and moisture programs tuned to your crop variety, growth stage and the local climate so you are never guessing at dosage or timing.

Troubleshooting Support

Pest pressure, humidity swings, unexpected yield issues - when something goes wrong, you reach our agronomy team directly, not a helpdesk queue.

Ongoing Access as Your Crop Changes

Ongoing access to our agronomy team as your crop or cropping pattern evolves. Many growers add a second crop or rotate varieties; we stay available for those transitions.

"The goal is simple: you should know your crop, your climate control and your costs as well as we do. That is what we hand over with every structure."

Common questions

Training & Agronomy: Common Questions From Growers

Is training included in the project cost, or is it extra?
Farmer training and agronomy support are included with every Soham Greens project, not sold as a separate add-on. You get the structure and the knowledge to run it together, from day one.
Who conducts the training?
Training is delivered through SVCPL, our dedicated training arm, by agronomists experienced in protected cultivation for Indian conditions. These are practitioners who have worked with the same crops and the same structures your training covers - not generalists or outside consultants.
What crops does your training cover?
We train for the crop in front of you. Common crops include chrysanthemum, pomegranate, strawberry, exotic vegetables such as capsicum and tomato, hydroponic cattle fodder and gerbera. Training is matched to your structure type and your cropping plan, not a generic curriculum that covers every crop at once.
Does agronomy support continue after handover?
Yes. Our agronomy team stays involved through your first critical growing cycles, not just at the handover. We schedule visits and calls around your crop stage, so support arrives when you actually need it - not on a fixed calendar that has no connection to what is happening inside your structure.
Can I request training if I already have a polyhouse built by someone else?
Yes. If you are already growing under a polyhouse or shadenet house and need crop-specific agronomy guidance, get in touch and we will discuss what support makes sense for your situation. Call +91 94248 89841 or use the form below.
Is the training suitable for FPOs and groups, or only individual farmers?
Both. We have trained FPOs with dozens of member farmers as well as individual growers putting up their first structure. The training scales to your group and is always grounded in the specific structures and crops your members are working with.
